So easy
This steel replaces a baking stone that took forever to heat up, and this one is ready as soon as the oven reaches temperature. Easy to lift and clean. I achieve crusty pizzas and baguettes using a steam bath and for sourdough , I use the light weight boule. Couldn’t be easier.

Wonderful for sourdough baking
I have been baking sourdough for a few years now, and have always had problems with the bottom of the loaf burning and not enough spring in the loaf. This steel has made a big difference to my loaves. No burnt bottoms and amazing spring.

Baking Steel and Boule
I've been baking my sourdough in a Dutch oven, but it was so heavy taking it in and out of the oven.
