Bento Backpack

Love the slimmer deprh 5-6ins. that is required on some airlines for a personal item, while still having lots and lots of packing space. Genius organization inside and out- lots of options for packing. Also like the zipper pulls that will accommodate security clips without a full on lock. And if course, a backpack means hands free and not lugging a shoulder bag after I check my other suitcase— I am 70, in decent shape, and this backpack fits and serves me well.

This is one of the best products/offerings out there! And, I just used it on an international trip. I have been using the Bento bag for several years as my personal item, and I have always loved the organization aspect. But, with the new Bento backpack, it makes it even better. When and if you need to pull this over your shoulder—or put fully on your back, it makes it the perfect option, especially when you encounter stairs or those cobble stone streets—where you need to carry your luggage. I was in the process of searching for a comparable backpack to use as a personal item, but it was difficult to find the exact type of organization as with the Bento bag. But, once I received the notification of the new Bento backpack, it was an easy decision to purchase. There are only a few recommendations I would make. First, allow the straps to be pulled tighter. It’s still firmly on my back, but a little more tightness would feel just a little more secure. Also, while this bag is not for hiking in any way, slightly wider/thicker straps could be more comfortable. Next, I like the hidden zipped pocket on the back—behind the pass through—making it more secure. But, with the Bento bag, I enjoyed having a zipped pocked on the outside of the luggage pass through. Of course, this would create a larger, padded pass through “strap,” but it’s a small suggestion. Overall, I can’t recommend this Bento backpack enough. Thanks!
