Snagged as a replacement for my old issued M-65 field jacket

This my third piece of Beyond gear and I am still blown away at the quality and attention to detail in it's performance. I think the 2XL fit's like a standard 2XLL which is great for me! Can't recommend Beyond enough for outdoor gear you can rely on!

A5 - Rig Softshell Jacket W/NSR

Got the A5 Rig jacket primarily as a mid season outer layer for hunting and mid layer for late season hunting in Montana. I got the XXL Regular size for a more loose fit to allow for layering. I normally wear a XL Long size in Beyond jackets (I got this jacket in the Outlet and longs were sold out). That said, the jacket sleeve length still works great with my 36” sleeve length. It is also not overly baggy (I am 6’7”, 225 pounds). The jacket is extremely well made (Berry Compliant), very durable, and does an excellent job of shedding light rain and mist. It is outstanding at blocking wind and as such is quite warm when used over proper base layers. I did remove all the Velcro patches as I have no use for them and this did not affect the jacket’s performance at all. Just another great, versatile Beyond product.
