A Different Kind of Saturation
Gray Matter is different from most saturation plugins I’ve used. It really adds something unique to the sound and gives you a different way of shaping saturation and distortion.
It can be subtle, but it can also go extremely hard. You can take a very thin sound and turn it into something huge, fat and full of character. The presets are already very convincing, but once you start experimenting with the controls, you can come up with some really creative and unexpected results.
It works great on drums, synths, basses and honestly almost anything you throw at it. The different combinations of saturation and overdrive give it a character of its own.
I tried it and bought it almost immediately. I was sold from the start. Excellent plugin!

Good for subtle taming of some harsh digital sounds.
Odd plugin that is very useful for subtle work but can also create a covered sound that could work against an overall mix. I'm happy to have it, and it is pretty unique in some ways, but it's pretty hard to give 5 stars to something that I doubt most people will find essential.
