Sushi Roller

Perfect for Tamagoyaki to form and cool down. Easy to clean. It stays rolled up on its own, which is helpful.

I really wanted to like this rolling mat more than I do. I have been using the traditional bamboo stick style of maki roller for many years, but I wanted to try something that would be a little bit easier to clean. Unfortunately, because this is plastic, it slips more than the bamboo when used with dry nori sheets. The bamboo, when moistened, has excellent “grip” on the outside of a maki roll. This works, more or less, but I feel like I have less control on rolling pressure and overall filling location compared to the bamboo stick rolling mat.

I really love this product. Had a wooden one before and it was tedious to clean. This one makes sushi easy and love how easy it is to clean. Definitely would recommend.
