Game changer for me

I have been trying to get this device for months, so when I found it on Mac Climbing I bought it immediately! I weight about 49kg and my climbing partners’ each weigh about 77kg. The Ohmega has made catching them much easier. So far I have tested it at the gym and I barely come off the ground when they take a fall. Usually they clip the second bolt and I fly up to it (about 2 meters), but now that we are using the Ohmega I actually stay on the ground. I have it on the middle setting (20kg added) and that has been good for us. Still a soft catch. It is also amazing for lowering. Usually lowering a much heavier partner is tricky because they come down too fast and then if I slow them down too much I actually end up in the air. This has fixed that completely. I had my grigri open all the way last session and they came down slowly and controlled, while I remained on the ground. I am still getting used to how the device opens and I find it’s a little tricky with one hand, but I’m sure that will get easier with time. Love it so far!
