Hunter Jacket

Honestly, I was so excited to get this jacket. I had seen it several times online and actually saved up to buy it because I thought it would be worth the investment. Unfortunately, the quality is just not what I expected. Starting with the fabric: it’s extremely wrinkly, thin, and has a plastic-like feel, even though it’s supposed to be denim. I can’t put my finger on it but it just feed plainly cheap. The front zipper also feels very weak and gets stuck easily. The first time I wore it, it genuinely felt like it was going to come apart at the bottom. The fit is also off. It’s cropped, but in a slightly awkward way, and the shoulders don’t fall quite right. The crossed detail in the front is beautiful and was actually what excited me most about the jacket, but because the overall structure feels poorly executed, the detail doesn’t stand out or get appreciated the way it should. I’m truly disappointed, especially considering the price and how much I was looking forward to it. Since I already paid for it, I’ll still wear it. The color is beautiful, and I do like the side pockets. The concept itself is gorgeous, which is why it’s such a shame. I genuinely think the brand needs to step up the execution, construction, and material quality to make a piece like this actually worth the price.
