It took a bit of getting used to. I play drums and due to all the motion in my arms and legs, it didn't work there. But I got the body strap and it worked well for me strapped to my upper abdomen, right below my sternum. My only complaint is that the front flashing light (strobe) is so bright it that it shows through my T-Shirt. People think I have an atomic reactor in my chest, just like Iron-man.
