Beware US buyers - Customs fees are around 50% of the cost of the case
Wanted to upgrade to a hardshell case for my Violet D-ERa. Ordering and shipping was fine. I received the case in what I can best describe as taped together garbage bags. Case seemed undamaged. But the clasp near the headstock was tight. And there is a gap near there even when the clasp is locked in a closed case. Enough that I can move it up and down. So not the best seal.
A few weeks later, I get a bill from FedEx for $160USD for import fees. So I’m almost $500 into a case that doesn’t feel worth more than $200.
I love Furch guitars and what they are doing with the CNR active neck.
But for a $300 case, and now an almost $500 case….I wish I wouldn’t have bought it.

Furch is Great -- US Customs, not so much.
Furch was great, easy to use wesite and easy to order, tracking was also easy. What wasn't was US Customs. I had to email FedEx and describe each item, its composition, and intended use, e.g., "Furch T-shirt, 100% cotton, article of clothing to be worn." This delayed my order in Memphis, Tennessee (t-shirt, allen key tool, and hard T-line case) for 8 days before they sent it on. Plus, I had to pay $159.00 in custom fees. I suggest that Furch keep a supply of accessories, etc. at their US distribution site to improve the ease of sales to their US customers.
