Pleat Table Lamp

Really nice looking lamp but the smart bulb blows (pun intended). Have had it nearly 2 months and the smart bulb has already partially died. It wont do bright white light anymore (just goes dark when i put it to the brightest setting) and the app for it is slow and has quite a delay until it connects. You have to be within close range for it to get bluetooth signal too, then get your app, wait for it to connect, only to discover itll no longer do white lighting after 2 months of light useage. I’ll have to replace it so soon with a better bulb. The lamp itself is very pretty, albeit a bit delecate, but I’d have hoped the smart bulb was better quality.

I love the lamp, it’s finish and the flexibility offered by the smart bulb. It’s a unique shape and offers a customised light through the smart bulb. My only peeve is the size of the wall plug, which is quite big (40mm approx) and (naively) I was expecting a smaller, more compact plug like my other shelf/table lamps. I have a 34mm cable access hole through my shelf so I’m now in a quandry. Do I put it where I wanted and potentially trip over the cable, get a new plug fitted or put it somewhere else?
