Hands down the best rod St Croix builds and the best rod I have ever fished with. I will never financially recover from the purchase of my first one as now I’m on number 8 or 9.

I bought a few models of these rods and have to say wow, these rods are the real deal. They are light, not Nrx light, but balanced better so they feel as light in hand if not lighter. They are as sensitive as an Nrx and way more powerful, you don’t feel like they’re a light sensitive rod. They are beautiful rods, powerful, comfortable, balanced and ultra sensitive as sensitive as any I’ve used. 10/10. Problem is once you buy one you’ll want more.

This rod has a different feel to it and now i love it. Used it on 2 outings and the balance and action are spot on. Great guides, great reel seat and the sensitivity is fantastical.
