Magnetic Third Hand

Very nicely made, looks the part. The magnetic base makes positioning very easy (especially compared to the articulated arms I've used in the past). I probably wish I'd gone for a size larger and a 3rd holder. Only downside compared to articulated arms is their ability to hold things at 'odd' angles. So not a replacement (I still need those) but definitely my go-to.

Holds small parts for soldering very well. It holds and grips the thinnest of wire. Beats the alligator clip holder have been using for years.

I like the weight of the base and the strength of the magnets. I wish the clamps opened up another 1/4" or so.
