I have to commend Hammonds for making lemon drops like I remember them. Sour, sweet and a light easy crunch at the finish. Found them at my neighborhood drug store and soon realized that others had discovered them, as with all good things, and the store couldn’t keep them in stock. I ordered direct and am extremely pleased. Good old fashioned sugar; lemon drops with memorable quality!

Different texture and slight off of the flavor

So.., I ordered the oops bag lemon drops. I normally get either the bag or the tin cans full of the lemony flavor that my husband loves! I ordered the oops bag candy and not disappointed in the count of them but the flavor is off.😥 The drops do not have the same flavor as the original packaging that I have bought before. The shape is round not oval like and the size is bit smaller. But the most disappointing factor of the oops bags is the less sour lemon flavor in the very beginning of first taste. I will be buying the other bags and/or tin cans from now on.
