Apollo Starter Kit & SEN65 Air Quality Sensor Module
Purchased the Apollo Starter Kit and SEN65 Air Quality Sensor Module almost 2 weeks ago after some tinkering and some direction from my buddy Claude led to me setting up a ESP32 for a small project. After that project I wanted to learn without my friend Claude’s help and so with the kit and sensor in hand I got to tinkering. The only thing that I dislike about the starter kit and sensor is how to house it all. I guess I need a 3D printer to address that. And so the side quests continue!!
The SEN65 Air Quality Sensor Module works well. I have the Apollo kit and sensor integrated into Home Assistant and they help me monitor the humidity of my office and activate a humidifier for my house plants if it gets too low. It is interesting to see all the available entities from the sensor in Home Assistant. Temperature, Hunidity, NOx index, PM - 1, 2.5, 4, and 10, and a VOC index. Thing is really neat. Not sure if I’d justify the price for the sensor on a starter kit BUT, all in all the kit and sensor were worth it to me, my project, my tinkering and learning something new. Thanks team!
