Good Upgrade But Not Perfect

We started with the ThinkPlay blocks in the Preschool kit. I rated those 5/5, they were perfect. These are still wonderful but not as good. So, as for the parts I (and my son) love, the books and pages give multiple HOURS worth of project ideas if your little scholar prefers a step by step guide to build things as opposed to divergent thinking. These blocks are good for convergent and divergent thinking and education skills. I love that they come in an easy to open and close bin. It makes organization and clean up so much easier. The reason i knocked off a star is that these blocks do not snap/click/go together nearly as smoothly or easily as the starter ThinkPlay blocks in the preschool kit. They can be tricky and frustrating to use and to take apart. I'm still very happy with the purchase, but my 4 year olds enthusiasm for ThinkPlay has noticeably diminished because of how much more difficult the blocks are to put together. We still have a lot of fun putting together eloboarate projects, it's just something to be aware of.

Excellent STEM blocks!

These blocks came in my son’s PreK kit, but all of my kids have enjoyed playing with them. Some of my kids enjoy creating their own creations, and some enjoy following instructions to build things. The instruction manuals are fantastic! They are easy to follow, and they are laminated for easy clean-up. This is a very high-quality set!

perfect for the family too

We love this, the activities and directions are easy to use and follow. All our kids love playing with them. They're so fun, and a little different from the other kind of building block since the sides also have the pegs sticking out. They love the different creations they've built so far!
