I found a photo online claiming to be from 1890 of a tiny one-eyed kitten named "One Eye Pete" with the caption "Tough, I am." Is it real? Is it from 1890? Is that actually Pete? I have absolutely no idea. But I loved him too much not to paint him! Pete (if that's even his real name) doesn't seem to care that he's missing an eye. He's tough
