Soft, roomy, fashionable comfort

Love the Kumori Trunk I bought. The fabric is stretchy and soft and the fit is perfect. Especially in the pouch where there is plenty of room for the ups and downs of, um, the day. Never pinches or cramps and the color is fantastic.

Length

The quality, and comfort of the underwear is incredible. It feels like you have nothing on it feel very supportive. I prefer the length of the boxer then the trunk, but both are phenomenal. I commend you.

Fit guarantee doesn't cover fit problems

The trunks themselves seem well made. The modal fabric is soft and the construction seems solid. My problem is what happens when something doesn't fit. I ordered six pairs of the Modal Trunks 2.5" and found the inseam too short on me. Five pairs were still sealed in their original packaging. I asked to exchange those unopened pairs for boxer briefs. Kumori said no, twice, citing hygiene and resale restrictions. The part that doesn't add up: the Perfect Fit Guarantee would have let me send those same sealed pairs back for a different size. Same unopened product, same shipment, same inability to resell it — approved if I want a bigger waist, refused if I want a longer leg. So the hygiene reasoning can't be what's actually driving the decision. What the guarantee really means is that Kumori will help with sizing, and not with fit. When I asked for the request to be escalated, support suggested I give the pairs to a friend or donate them to charity. That was the final answer on a first order: six pairs I can't wear, and a recommendation to hand them out. Support was prompt and polite throughout, which counts for something. But if you're unsure which cut works for you, order one pair and nothing more. The guarantee will not get you out of a cut that's wrong, no matter how many pairs are still sealed.
