It is a really awesome addition to my kids room. The artwork looks great for the different creatures rolling around on it. It folds really well, even if it feels a little delicate when opened. The amount of light it puts out is perfect, it is also a soft light so even when it is dark it doesn't feel harsh after looking in its direction. It really works a bit like a slightly brighter candle, all in all, a great purchase as a gift or just something to hang on to while tellling cool stories at night.

I love this lamp so don't let my lack of 5 stars fool you! The knock to the score simply comes from the price. The lamp is too small, too fragile, and not made with materials that would equal the cost. So yes you will be over paying by about 4x what this lamp is worth in value. That said the illustrations on it are beautiful, the wood used is nice and while it is extremely fragile it's a wonderful little piece. I use it on my record player table as accent lighting. Would I pay 70.00 for this again, no never. I'm glad to have it though.
