It works exactly as demonstrated. The holder is securely affixed to the golf cart and neither the holder or the phone has moved even after hitting a bump. What I really like is the holder can be used in any golf cart and easily moves from my golf cart to a cart that I ride in for that round.

This is terrific. I used it the last two rounds and we went across bumpy bridges and uneven terrain. It did not budge. Very happy with it.
