Good version of an old favorite
I have looked it over, put it on and compared it to my old Tru-Spec Honduran made choc chip boonie. Despite being made in China (what do you expect when you buy by price), it appears virtually identical with the exception that this one uses a ripstop fabric that feels slightly thicker. Overall dimensions are very close and it seems to fit the same. It weighs 94 gr for the 7-3/4 size which is 1 gr less than the old one that has 25+ years of wear and tear so the fabric must actually be lighter in weight.
