Great package cutter

I got this V2+ on sale and am very pleased with it. The precise machining and tolerances impress and teh blade slides out and latches into both positions beautifully. One job I do is invigilating exams and the small, protected blade is fantastic for making shallow cuts into the plastic packaging without marking the papers. I use setting one for this as the blade only slightly protrudes. The clip makes it handy to transport in an inside pocket of my grab bag. I haven't used the other tools yet but the driver snugly fits 1/4 inch bits so could be handy when a proper driver isn't available.

Overall, a good design.

Overall, it is a simple, easy to use sliding knife that uses replaceable commonly available x-acto blades. I've seen similar designs (Mech Army) that require you use their proprietary blades. On the negative side, changing blades involves removing a tiny screw that might easily get lost. On the plus side, they provide the tool for removing that screw. The bottle opener might get in the way a little on the bottom, but the top part is convenient for pressing a finger down over the blade to cut deeper.

Slide works great, very secure so have 0 worry to attach to keys! Thanks guys!
