Nostalgia meets upgrade

Honestly I got these to relive my teenage years learning to code on a BBC Micro. Cheaper than trawling eBay for a reconditioned Beeb! But the keycaps are more than just nostalgia - they're great quality and really improve my typing experience.

After buying my second ethusiast keyboard, to use in the workplace, I knew that I had to have a set of stand out keycaps. I began my search online and thinking about keyboards of the past, it hit me. it HAD to be BBC. I grew up with the BBC Micro. My first foray into computing. Writing that christmas story, pringing it out on the STAR Dot Matrix printer. It took a little time, but the articles indicated that Signature Plastics made the true to form keycaps and they were well received by their audience. Well. I'm now part of that audience. I can promise you will not be disappointed with the quality of these Keycaps. The colour, shape, size, font.... Perfect! With plenty of spares for the enthusiast keyboards, different shape and sizes for modifiers, they are sure to fit not only your keyboard, but style. Shipping was well tracked and I was kept informed on the order status all the way. Eco Friendly packaging reducing landfill was a great touch. Just waiting on the next run for the Num Pad to complete my board! excellent product

I previously wrote a very salty review. Having spent more time with the product I'm now very happy with it. Colour, texture and clarity of legends are all excellent. Signature Plastics produce key profiles and colourways that are a joy to use and you can't get anywhere else. Things that initially got me salty: Looks like the caps are cast(?) in a different way to my other sets. There is what look like damage from sprue attachment on the sides of almost all the keys. Looking at my other sets they seem to have been connected on the underside so this damage is invisible. Once on the keyboard however, only the damage on the outside keys is visible and even this is difficult to see.
