For me the best tool. Light enogh for long hours of working, heavy enough for a good punch. The new shape works a bit better for me. The rake-side cuts pretty well into the ground. Better than the old. The straight side ist great for scraping an even surface. You can also compress soil easily and I even hammer off sandstone / rock edges. Most of the time the one tool is enough for all what you want to do.
