Expanding Router Table Kit

Just finished the expanding router table. Easy build and very sturdy. As a newbie to woodworking, a few more written instructions in the plan would be helpful, although I able to use the YouTube video to figure out what I needed. The Dust collector and template kit worked like a charm. This is the second plan I have purchased. The expanding mitre saw table was also a relatively quick and easy build. Both of these projects are great space saving, yet high function adds to my workshop.

This was a great kit to have. I also purchased the recommended router insert which ended up not working with my 25 year old router. My bad. Ended up having to buy a new router so I also purchased a router lifter which is the exact same size as the recommended plate. I was confused on which screws to use to hold the template down since neither set included created a flush top. I later realized I had the template upside down. My bad! Loved the included fence and dust collector pieces. Highly recommend this kit if you are going to build the table.

The template was so easy to use and helped me to guide my router to create the opening for the router insert plate. A great time saver. I just finished putting the table together so I really have to had the time to use the dust extraction yet but looked like it will work great.
