Simple pad protector which eliminates need for tape. It’s a thin material but sticky and works great. The holes to capture the pads with the T2 screws is a great touch.

The pad works fine, but it has to be removed to sharpen knives with thicker blades because it the screws on the Hapstone T2 aren’t long enough to leave the pad in place.
