Good but can be better
So I bought this Trex 2 around March. Took about a month for it to get delivered because it was coming from China. Did mind that at all. Got the huge box and starting going through everything. The instruction they gave were on a SD card which was good but out dated. The instructions were clear and easy to follow but they tell you to add things which they no longer do like the filament sensors. When telling things up found multi wires not connected in control box. Which whatever a mistake is a mistake. The stepper motors sound smooth and quit. The noise level over all is pretty quit. With my room fan going its pretty much cancells it out. About one month of use had control box fan burn up. bought a new one on amazon and Ill tell you later. One more month after that my X axis belt came off. The pulley was misaligned and it frayed the belt pretty good. Bought a new belt and pulley set up. I had also purchased the WiFi set up, bad idea pretty much a waste for this machine. The bed is controlled manually that little box on the side. So even if the WiFi was actually WiFi, which it really isn't, you would still have to go to the machine and turn on the bed heater. The WiFi is just a set up of the touch screen. So its cool to move the x, y, and z axis from my phone and preheat the extruder but that it. Its not like what you think about being at work and looking at stuff to print and go BAM! 3d printer on and print this file. So over all the WiFi is pointless. So about buying parts on amazon when clearly the parts are under warranty right. You have to cover shipping and handling from China. So my 8 dollar fan would turn into 18. They would be happy to warranty it for you but not pay shipping. Over all the machine is a great printer. I was a little surpised on the detail it could do, down to a nice ring. Also if you have printing problems I was quickly sent to a form side "facebook" to go to. The customer service is only online and are very helpful but the down fall is no replacement parts online. No real warranty. but its a big 3d printer that does pretty good detail.
