Beautiful Tree!

This review is late - my mom died in March - but I'm still grieving... Anyway, The Living Urn was WONDERFUL. Momma wanted to be a tree - no funeral, no fuss - just let her remains nourish a tree. She'd wanted it for awhile and we planned it together when we knew it was her time. We picked out a purple crepe myrtle and a sunny spot in my backyard. When the time came everything went smoothly, except for Fed-ex, but Living Urn fixed that so fast I didn't have time to worry about it! The product is exactly what you'd expect - a thin bamboo case surrounds a giant peat pot. You put the tree, the ashes, and the packet of fertilizer/soil they send into the peat pot, dig a hole and put the peat pot in the ground. You get to keep the bamboo canister. I now have a beautiful, living monument to my mom! We didn't get any flowers this year, but the tree is strong and growing more every day. My mom would love it!
