Soil-Based Microgreens Starter Kit

I was really excited about starting to grow microgreens. So I decided to order the kit. But the directions were not very helpful--they were too general. I had a very hard time with the brick of soil. But I went ahead and did them and they are growing. I think it would have been helpful if I could have watched a video. Anyway, I am still excited about it, and I'm going to keep plowing ahead. If you had any video about it, that would be great. I started with beet seeds, and I'm going to try something else. I like your website and I will probably be ordering from you again.

Good seed selection, but lack of detailed instructions and not enough coir is an issue. You can do 3 trays, but they will have a shallow bed. Most would do better buying items individually.

This was a great way to cut my teeth growing microgreens, set at an alright price point. I ended up using potting soil, as I was unsure of how to use the coco-husk. I would recommend looking up directions for individual seeds separately, as the instructions don’t apply to all seeds. Like all starter kits, one could probably get away with starting seed more cheaply, but it was useful to have everything in one package.
