Convenient but bulky
The DayLite Totepack and pouch set is really convenient for every day carry with a lot of items, with the ease of transforming into a small crossbody bag only for a quick errand where you don't want to bring the whole totepack. The crossbody straps can be stored in the same stash pocket on the totepack where you stash the backpack straps, so it's not taking up much space. Getting into the totepack can be a bit combersome sometimes since it's a fold over (that is magnetized) and there aren't any small stash pockets inside. There are only 2 large zip pockets on one side (horizantally top and bottom) and then the 2 padded sections for your laptop and tablet. Personally I would have prefered only 1 padded section large enough for the laptop and a stash pocket/pen pocket organization area instead of the tablet pocket. As a result, a lot of small organization ends up in the attached crossbody bag, which does attach quite securly to the totepack, but bounces up and down kind of funny sometimes. The 2 large side pockets are large enough to fit a 40 oz bottle tightly, though I think 24 - 32 oz water bottle is probably a more comfortable fit. There is a large stash pocket in the front of the totepack that has a single button that closes it. While useful, be mindful this area is not waterproof/resistant, especially when the crossbody is attached to the totepack. The crossbody tends to weigh down that large stash area and as result, there is a large gap that the single button barely closes. If you're wearing the totepack as a tote only, you can kind of hold it down with your arm, but as a backpack, be mindful that it's a large opening that water (and people) can get into very easily. As such, I only out thing that not important and just need to grab very quickly like hand sanitizer, wipes, etc. The straps for the tote is long enough and comfortable enough to be easily worn as a tote bag with about a 11 inch drop from the top of the bag. The tote straps are not padded nor does it have any grips, so it does sometimes slip down easily when wearing a coat. The hidden zip pocket on the totepack is quite useful and large enough for a long wallet. The back stash pocket also has a single button and abundant space to store the backpack straps and the crossbody strap when not in use. However, my biggest issue with the back is there is WAY too much padding. I swear the padding against your back when you feel from the inside of the back stash pocket is about 2 cm thick. It's thicker than my thickest yoga mat! That amount of padding isn't pressed against the laptop, so it's not really to protect the laptop (and there is some padding on both sides of the laptop section anyways), and I don't think you need that much padding against your back since it can make it very hot. It's good for giving structure when using the luggage pass through, but it's so structured that it ends up being a hindrance when trying to shove it under your seat or into smaller spaces like a locker. I say reduce the padding by half, especially since it just adds unnecessary weight and doesn't do much to help protect the laptop. Othewise a really good EDC totepack combination with a few flaws, but it isn't completely detrimental or a deal breaker. 4/5 stars.

Nice size and space but lacking in certain areas
The tote pack is nice and spacious apart from a few things: - For me I tend to overpack so when it is filled and carried the magnets aren’t strong enough and stay open so good thing the zipper is there - The length of the zipper is longer than the bag which makes it a bit awkward to open and close - It seems that the bag has 2 layers that are pretty loose and not stitched together which is a hassle for 2 reasons: 1. the magnets would flip over and not stick on the correct side making for a weird look 2. it makes the smaller zipper pockets on the inside of the bag sag and pretty much useless which makes them inaccessible when I’m trying to look for things - Packing the tote straps in the slip pockets is awkward in that the straps fold in a weird way making for a somewhat bulky appearance
