Uinta Box Shell Rooftop Tent

This is my fourth RTT. I had considered a clamshell design but the dimensions were not conducive to my current racks. It is slightly smaller than my previous tent with the same foldout configuration. If it holds up I will like it. A little more plastic than I realized and that is usually the first thing to fail. Overall well constructed. A bit odd having the exterior light cord run through the door opening. Maybe I can figure a better routing? Could give better/more details in your online presentation. All in all I am pleased. Check with me in a few years!

My first RTT

After months of research I landed on the purchase of this tent to put on top of my Tacoma. This past weekend I used it for the first time. The tent performed great. It was comfortable and relatively easy to setup. Only thing that I found difficult was the rods for the door were hard to get in place. There is a need for printed instructions specific to this tent that should come with it. I am not sure what the pole that came with it is to be used for. When I asked for installation instructions I was given a video for a different tent and the rods and pole were not covered in the video.
