Helix Circle Ruler

When I saw this circular ruler I knew it was the answer to an issue I was running into in designing and finishing small round needlepoint canvases. It’s not something I plan to do a lot, so an investment in acrylic templates doesn’t make sense for me. Once you get the hang of it you can create any size circle under a four inch diameter. Using the outer edge I drew a circle 5.75 inches in diameter. The packaging shows a size of 6 in and 15 cm; however, if there’s a way to use the ruler to draw a circle exactly 6” in diameter I don’t see it. Fortunately, I don’t anticipate wanting to make any canvases that size :) Instructions are on the outside of the package in three languages so they’re somewhat limited, but once I studied the ruler a bit and worked with it I realized it’s really much more simple than I was making it. It’s also a protractor for creating angles. I’m extremely happy I made this impulse purchase. I’ve already used it to make a couple bag charms.
