Highs and Lows

I love the design of this keyboard, how it sounds, and how the keys feel. My kids love this keyboard more than any other. The bad things: the switches aren't great. I frequently get double letters, and thus have to type extremely carefully. Entering passwords is very difficult. Gaming works great, because games are not very sensitive to repeated wasd inputs, or similar. This is what I use it for now, I connected it to the steam deck to get around those issues. I use only Linux for everything, and unfortunately, this keyboard cannot set its date/time display via NTP (nor the Bluetooth equivalent for date and time), or any other protocol, so the displayed time is forever wrong and I have no way of fixing it. The software that accompanies this keyboard is only windows and mac. Just to see if that helps, I connected this keyboard to an android phone, via Bluetooth, this didn't automatically fetch the time and date from the phone either. I think I would like to have some low level interface to the display which would allow me to put any information that I want on there. With much better switches, this could be a good keyboard. I wouldn't use it to write text the way things are.
