Bolt NFC

Too many issues. I bought 3, replacing 3 earlier generation UltraLoc products. What I’d like is a tight geo fence and constant NFC unlock. As it is, when I drive by on the highway, I go through a “close” “not close” phase. Then getting all the way home, close again. I want the garage interior door to auto-lock. That it does, but I’d like NFC (it’s in the product name after all) to unlock it whenever I approach it. Instead, I bounce off the door if I’ve worked in the garage for a bit, or when going from inside into the garage. Ideally, it would function like a BMW I recently rented: unlock on approach, lock when subsequently left. Do these locks in fact have NFC connectivity? Is this just a case of incompletely implemented capability? I hope so - to date, it seems to be based on my phone’s GPS location, not NFC. The only plus I see so far is that this model has integrated WiFi connectivity vs the bridges I previously needed.

It is a great lock. It is easy to use and the fob seems to be more reliable than the fingerprint for older people. Best lock I've purchased.

I can't get NFC unlock to work, desire many related attempts. Bluetooth and lock firmware update time hours and 8+ attempts. It's impossible to authentically migrate user profiles meaning they should have to be recreated in the new lock. Connection from the app is still slow. The lock is a different size too the previous ultralioq so it required extra fitting. The previous lock had broken functionality, this one had new and different broken functionality. Incredibly disappointing.
