The 5th SFG SPR or "Mk 12 Mod Holland" came from 5th Special Forces Group turning in their 18" SPRs to be rebarreled and improved. The program included:

Retain optics
16" BBL to replace previous 18" BBLs
ACE SOCOM carbine collapsable stocks to replace fixed rifle stocks
