Nice kettle with minor scuffs

I purchased the copper version of the DJ kettle. It feels nice in the hand and generally looks nice too. I also appreciate how fast the water heats up! I do have minor nitpicks about the appearance of the product, though none of them greatly affect the function of the kettle much if at all: 1. The silver nameplate located on one of the sides of the base that includes the lafeeca branding has a noticeable scratch. It also appears that something behind the nameplate is causing it to bulge out slightly. 2. The display screen arrived with what looked to be a small plastic bit sticking out from the screen’s surface. The bit came off with a light nudge, but there is now a small indent in the screen since it feels like it is a soft, plastic surface. I wish it came with a protective screen! 3. I am not a fan of the tolerances of the rotating knob. It takes little effort to pivot the knob at an angle as if it were a joystick. 4. The way that the spout was connected to the main body of the kettle resulted in a noticeable ring at the spout’s base. It has a discolored look that clashes with the copper finish of the kettle, and it includes splotchy edges too. 5. The interior of the gooseneck appears seems uneven. This does not appear to affect the flow of water though.

Nice but hold temperature not the best.

It is a very nice looking kettle. I really enjoy the clicky buttons, they feel very premium to me. The kettle is also very nice and solid. The only downside is the hold temperature on the kettle overshoots. It is able to hit the temperature target around 0 to +1C But afterwards when it heats back up to the target temperature, it shoots up +3 to +4 which is a significant bump. Hope they can be able to fix it in the near future.

Really nice teapot! Just right for our pour over coffee. Solid, easy to use, good coordination with our kitchen.
