We’ve used them in our coffee shops for the last 1.5 years until the springs were worn out and compressed. Couldn’t find a spring replacement option so just purchased 6 new from WLL. Love them! Sad to know that they are no longer being manufactured.

Quality Tamper

I have used this style tamper for a while. I personally like the convex surface to the flat and feel that I get a better tamp. The product fits well in my hand and has a solid feel whilst using. I also like the calibrated nature of the tamper which makes me feel that I have achieved proper consistency to the puck. At the end of the day though, it is how an item feels in your hand and how easy it is to achieve consistency. That is an individual thing..and won’t tell you that something else out there may suit you better..but this one is right for me:blush:

Didn't Know It Was a Must Have

The tool is simple. Tamp. It clicks. Stop applying pressure. The tamping consistency it promotes allows me to fine-tune the grind and dosing, all working together to pull great shots. I didn't know I needed the tamper but I know now. It is a must-have tool for my espresso brewing.
