The image on the website looked beautiful. However, when the dress arrived, everywhere the mesh connected with the fabric was an unfinished seam. You could see all of the stitching at the arm holes and edges of the sleeves, as well as around the whole bottom panel of the skirt. It took all afternoon with a needle and thread to tuck all the seams. For the price of the dress, I fully expected all the seams to be finished. After tapping into the seamstress skills of my ancestors, the dress now looks as pretty and finished as I'd expected, and I can confidently wear it. I've purchased from Mae Otti about 6 months ago and loved that first dress, so I'd anticipated a similar experience this time. Perhaps the lack of finishing on this dress was simply a manufacturing oversight.
