Better than Imagined!

The workbook is truly a work of art. It is beautiful and the instructions for painting are so clear; especially when having the small “sample blocks” of color I should aim to create. Just bought my brushes today and sending a second workbook with brushes to my daughter-in-law. Can’t wait to talk about this experience with her as we move through “my” flock of newly painted birds.

So MUCH Fun!

Years ago I took a wine & paint party and started painting with acrylics. I have ALWAYS wanted to try watercolors. This beautiful little set speaks to my love of blank books to fill! There are rudimentary instructions for each bird. I’d like a little more info on mixing colors but I love the color blocks for each bird so I can get close! I recommend this for a gift or yourself to sit, slow down and take a bit of time for you.

A super fun activity for the whole family!

Three generations participated in painting the birds watercolor workbook! My husband helped our 3-year old granddaughter paint a bird, he painted one by himself, and our adult daughter painted several and commented how therapeutic it was! Our other daughter has recently become an avid birdwatcher so she was fascinated to see the beautiful bird watercolor “templates.” Thank you for providing such an inspirational family activity!
