I have a hard time getting it to actually stain my lips even after letting it sit, whipping my lips with alcohol so there's no oil, and making sure the product is well mixed. I think I just have weird lips

It's a good product but not exactly what was promised. It stays on for a while, and it looks nice, but it is not transfer proof, and you definitely should not eat or drink while you're wearing it. When you wipe it to just wear the stain, there's hardly any pigment, and theres patchy bits of black left behind. But other than that, it's good it stays on for my shift with only having to reapply 3 times.

I was really excited about this, I've been looking for a lip stain for a while, and unfortunately, I still am. This lip stain didn't actually stain my lips at all, even with proper lip prep beforehand and an excess of time worn (literal hours on end with me touching it up whenever it smudged) which brings me to another unfortunate aspect, it still transferred plenty even with plenty of time to dry. I got red and black, and both had to have multiple coats (2+) to get a solid layer. I tried using them as a base for some of my other less transfer liquid lipsticks, which was fine, they were still the same level of decent non-transferable, and it made the inside of my lips keep the color a tiny bit longer, but still no actual staining that I could see. I wish I had taken photos. I'll do my best to take photos next time I use them before and after so I can update the review. Overall, very disappointed, I really wanted these to be good, I would've been a lifelong appreciative customer.
