Pretty good... Best currently available.

I used the Tomtoc Armor Case with my Steam Deck, and loved it. It was very rugged and fit perfectly. Unfortunately, they don't make one for the ROG Ally/X, and this is the closest I could find. It's nice that the body shell stays on during use... It protects better than the Tomtoc while I'm using the Ally X. But the rubber parts don't fit quite perfectly, and there's a bit of play in where the front cover can fit on. I have to be a bit careful when closing it up to make sure I'm not pinching the sticks. These cons aren't deal breakers and I'm still happy with my purchase... But if I could, I would buy a Tomtoc Armor Case instead.

Good value for the money, but could be improved.

Overall, it’s a good case, but there are areas to improve. First, the stand. I carry my ROG Ally C in a computer bag with my computer, but I count the number of times I’ve taken it out of my bag and the stand has fallen off. It needs to somehow “click” in so it doesn’t fall off so easily. I am also not a huge fan of the fit/finish. It’s not awful, but I am one of those people who pay way too close of detail, so I notice these things. The top cover, I always feel like I am going to damage my triggers and/or thumb sticks because of the way it is made.

Ally X case

I have your case on my oled steam deck and it seems you may have rushed the Rog along. I have cut the bands on the top right and left for better access and fingerprint verification. I believe the padding on the hard cover is to thick and is difficult to close and open. You can tell by looking at the side and see the slight angle. Thanks
