I ordered a powerhouse one piece, straight shaft, 205 centimeter, and I love it. If you're relatively new to whitewater and you're limping along, with that paddle somebody gave you, and you're thinking, "why do I need to spend 3 or $400 on a paddle". . . i would point out that your paddle strokes are a huge part of the whole game. Essentially Not flipping mostly depends on your strokes, you're bracing your balance and confidence level. . . figure 10%. For the mechanics of the actual paddle another 10% For for the ease of Getting in position for the proper strokes and draws in my head . . . I feel like I'm nearly 20% better With this new paddle over the old Hand me down walmart special. . completely worth every penny. I bought a blemished paddle and I've gone over every inch I can't see any imperfections I love my new paddle. . .
