Your website was easy to navigate and the information provided was very helpful. This is my first time ordering seeds from BI. The seed packets are very beautiful and it grows my excitement for seed starting in early spring. I look forward to seeing how well my seeds germinate, grow and bloom in my garden this next growing season!
The delivery was fast and they even included a little gift! Will order again for sure
I haven't grown these before from seed. I wanted to try because of the way the attract pollinators to the garden. They went on sale in June so I bought them! Then I read they germinate better with cold stratification, but didn't want to spend time on that. As an alternative to cold stratification, I found an online resource that recommended exposing wet seeds to ethylene gas (in the form of a cut apple) which I did for 4 days and then sowed them indoors with a heat mat and light- I sowed 2-3+ seeds per cell, 17 out of 18 cells have germinated. I'm having fun experimenting with growing different flowers from seeds. I hope the rest of the growing process is pretty straightforward. :)
