Waterbury Heritage America 250 39mm Leather Strap Watch

The TIMEX Heritage chronograph is a lovely watch, but the 250th anniversary edition really is special. Although this anniversary is not what it should be, overshadowed by the current sociopolitical climate. I wanted to mark the occasion with something special. This watch really hit the mark. I love the blue tachymeter bezel and the red accents on the bezel and on the dial around the sub dials. The 250th anniversary edition has something the other models in this collection lack, but I love, and that is the silver seconds track with its tapered red line marking a 15 min/sec scale. I put it on a Forstner ladder bracelet to add to the vintage aesthetic.

Very nice weekend/holiday watch. Chronograph function works well, and the colored pushers really make it stand out. It was a little unsettling to see that the pushers “screws” are purely decorative, and don’t function like a Daytona. But for 1/100th of a price, it’s reasonable.

I love the fact that Timex is revamping and really making well built and bringing classic designs with a little modern back into their watches this one is no exception I love the 250 patriotic face I also like the fact the new Timex watches seem to have better movements and they are not just discount store watches , they are well built like they were in the 60s 70s and 80s. I also appreciate the fact they are putting themselves in the entry level luxury watch segment with their Swiss made lines. I also like their nice affordable mechanical movements that are Japanese as well.
