Great tone shaping & mojo

This just works, allowing quick and intuitive tone & character shaping across individual instruments and the mix bus. Has earned a permanent place in my projects.

This thing is SMOOTH

This is not a wild eq. It's a calm, collected, deep, punchy, tactile and warm eq. I use it as a mastering eq, combined with the amazing air band on the Avalon 747. They go together like pasta and bolognese, like Laurel and Hardy. The low registry on this is smoooooth like a smoothie, and still it punches through, just in the right places in the mix. I use this mastering chain in this order: Kazrog True Iron, True 252, Avalon 747 (only the eq), Kiive Audio's Nfuse, Neve MBT settings (only the saturator and the stereo spread modules and finally the multiband compressor and limiter of the TC Electronic system 6000 MD4. Kazrog's productline is a real blessing!

Simple to use.

Simple to use EQ. Could have more character (on call) and a higher range for the highest band.
