My heels rubbed up and down in the boot. I didn’t notice it at first until it started to hurt from a blister. I adjusted the shoe lacing tightness (after my blisters healed)and that helped. I’ve never had that happen before in a lace up boot or sneaker. I bought several pairs of shoes from Taos and had a similar movement in my heels from all the shoes. But they are comfortable on my feet and to walk in for the bottoms of my feet. Just make sure they are tied to prevent movement inside the shoe. That’s never been an issue with shoes for me before these shoes. And they aren’t too big. The toe room is perfect with my heel up against the back of the shoes, but it lifts just enough to create a friction on the back of my heel if I don’t take the time to adjust the pressure from the laces to prevent movement. But I do like the look of the shoes.

Love! Love!! Love!!! I purchased these in red and black. Took the red pair on safari in South Africa. Perfect and so comfortable. So many people complimented them as well.

Perfect boots. This is my 3rd pair of Crave boots and I might order another. For two weeks on safari I wore only these - perfect!!!
