Comfy and good leg cut, but belt loops and waistband are funky

The cut of the straight leg is great - not tapered. And the material is soft with the right amount of stretch. However, the belt loops are sewn in an odd way where they jut out over the belt and the wait band creates an odd line and tends to fold down when sitting. It looks great with untucked shirts and no belt but a bit weird with a belt and a tucked shirt. I would size down next time given the stretch.
