beautiful concept but poorly executed

I ordered this dress for a spring formal and was so excited to receive it (shipping was very quick). However, I found the top was beautiful but looked very mismatched from the bottom. The bottom is more sheer than I expected, and starts right below the crotch area. Maybe it's just me and the dress is beautiful on others, but just didn't work for me.
