Really like this brush. I would say it's better than the define brush because the bristles are actually softer and therefore more gentle however the little balls on the bristles will get caught in your hair if you have 3B or higher textured hair. I recommend just snipping the balls of with a scissors but overall love the brush and wish they'd make them without the balls on the bristles as it's not ideal for type 3 and 4 hair as the hair is too curly.

I think this brush is great it’s heavy though lol something I wasn’t expecting lol I have wrist issues though since being a hairdresser for 15 years. So that might be just a weight issue because of that. But my 4 year old loves the way her curls look more beautiful. She has loose curls usually some really coiled and some almost straight on top the second day and this has helped to make them more uniform for longer. She’s happy!

It was a Christmas present for my daughter. She absolutely loves the way it makes her curls so perfect and not frizzy. Now she wants the blow dryer 😅
