GREAT CASE

I customized my case for a Mini DJ setup. Bottom section holds Laptop, Gemini MM1-BT mixer, external hard drive, iMic external sound card and power cables. Top section stores power wires for speakers, XLR wires for speakers, wired microphone, 6 outlet surge protector and 20 foot main power cable.

This is a great case for folks that have small setups that can use an all-in-one enclosure. It's lightweight and very intuitive. I can't wait to test it out at my next gig.

I am loving this - got the XL and set up my Hydrasynth Explorer plus ReFace CP and a little audio interface as a mixer. I just gigged with it last weekend and it worked fantastically! Massively simplified my setup and teardown: just pop the lid off, plug in power cable and audio output, play show. Afterwards just unplug the cables, put the lid back on and you're done! The case is tall enough for me to add a small 1x2 riser underneath the rear keyboard in order to make it more accessible. The case seems plenty durable for small tours via automobile. If I were flying with it often I would probably pack the case itself inside a larger shockproof case. I would not trust baggage handlers with this: even though the lid is well padded, there is no shock mounting in order to save weight and bulk. This means that vibration or drops will be transmitted directly to the gear. For my circumstances I'm willing to take that tradeoff for a slim and lightweight case that allows me to gig with ease!
