These are great if you don’t want to deal with using a vacuum. Great way to organize your clothes for your trip. There are also little cards and clear sleeves so you can label what’s in each bag.

Just did a two week vacation to Ireland (cooler, wetter weather, mix of casual and a little dressier), entirely with carry-on. Used compression zip bags to great effect. It turns out I brought more than I needed. Still had room to bring souvenirs home.

I managed to get all 6 of these into your 40 L bag. 4 pairs of shoes, 3 pants , all my undergarments, 2 pairs of pjs, 2 dresses, 5 shirts, a rain jacket, a puffer jacket, and a skirt for an 8 day trek around the Netherlands. Had to open my bag 3 times and the packing cubes made it easier for security to check. I know this is about the cubes, but the bag fit in all overhead bins, including a CRJ and the NS trains in the Netherlands. Great system. Now my husband wants a second set for him.
